Team leaders should be very cautious about judging a team’s decision. If the proper process was followed and the team members are behind the decision and result, then the team leader should present the findings as just that: the team’s decision. Of course, the parameters of the task should have been shared fully with the team at the beginning. This wasn’t the case, but under the circumstances, the team offered seemingly practical ideas. In fact, you know what, presenting the team’s ideas would have been a perfect example of leadership!
