(35') a/ Activity 1: Practice the dialogue. Introduce: In the last period, you studied structures for request and price. Today, we will study more about them. You will hear a conversation between Nga and Hoa. They are on the way to post office. Can you guess what they want? Let Sts listen to the tape B2. Sts practice the dialogue, answer question in the textbook and show out the result. Explain some new words. b/ Activity 2: Practice writing - speaking request and asking - answering for price. Ask Sts to look at B3 and introduce: You will hear a conversation between Hoa and a post office clerk but there is some unfinished information. Now you read and complete the conversation. Sts complete the dialogue and practice it infront of class. Introduce new words. Ask Sts to make similar dialogues base on the just completed one. Sts practice these dialogues in front of class. 3/ Wrapping (3') Repeat structures and words related to services in the post office. 4/ Homework (2') Ask Sts to make dialogues using structures and words about services in the post office, do excercises in the workbook and prepare the next lesson: Unit 8 - B 4,5. a. Hoa needs some local stamps and some stamps for overseas mail and a phone card. b. She need stamps for overseas mail because she has a pen pal in America. c. Let Sts listen to the tape B4 and ask: - What is the total cost? - How much change will Mrs Robinson have from 60,000 dong? Sts show out the answer. b/ Activity 2: Further practice asking and answering for price. Ask Sts to look at questions in B5, read then practice asking and answering them in pairs.
