 Period 19 CONDITIONAL TYPE 2 (EXERCISES ) 
A. The aims and objectives: 
 1. Knowledge
-Topic: Conditional Type 2 
- Help ss know the form, use of the conditional sentence type 2, distinguish to the 
conditional sentences type 1
By the end, ss can do exercises relating to C S Type 2 well 
2. Skill: Writing skill.
3.Attitude: Students love English subject and have skills to do the test.
B. Teaching aid: T: Test paper.
 Sts: revision

1. Oganization(1’): Good morning !

A, The content
1- Form: If S1+ V1_simple past...., S2 + would + V2_infinitive...
 were (not) could
 V_ed/ Irre.
 did not + V_infinitive....
Ex: If I were a doctor, I would cure a lot of people
 If she came here , she would meet us
2- Ways to write with the conditioal sentence type 2
- Unless = If... not
Ex: If we werenot here, we couldn’t see these things
=> Unless we were here, we couldn’t see these things
- Nếu câu đề cho ở thì hiện tại, viết lại bằng câu Đk2+ phản nghĩa
Ex: My father isn’t rich, he can’t buy that car
  If my father were rich, he could buy that car
 We don’t have enough time . We can’t go to the cinema with you
  If we had enough time, we ould go to the cinema
- Nếu câu đề ở hiện tại ,chứa BECAUSE , ta viết bằng câu ĐK 2 + phản nghĩa( 
Thay Because bằng If)
Ex: Because he is lazy, he fails the exam
  If he weren’t lazy, he wouldn’t fail the exam
- Nếu câu đề cho ở hiện tại, chứa SO, ta viết bằng câu Đk 2 + phản nghĩa( đặt If ở 
vế không chứa SO)
