 -Help sts review “relative clauses”. 
-By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to review “relative clauses” and do 
exercises.

II. The contents:
A. The theory:
* N (không xác định) + Mệnh đề quan hệ xác định (N = the man/ girl/ boy/ woman/ 
car/.......)
* N (xác định), Mệnh đề quan hệ không xác định ( N = Lan/ Hà nội/ my 
mother/danh từ riêng........)
 Đại từ quan hệ Từ được thay thế
 Who (người mà) S (chỉ người)= She/He/They 
 Whom (người mà) O (tân ngữ chỉ người)= him / her/ them 
 Which (cái mà/vật mà) S(chỉ vật/chỉ sự vật)/ O (chỉ vật= it/them)
 Whose (sở hữu) Tính từ sở hữu= his/her/their .
 Where(nơi chốn) here/there/ nơi chốn
 That=Who=Which Trong mệnh đề xác định
* Bài tập chọn đại từ quan hệ:
 . N(vật/sự việc) + which + V/ S + V .
 .. N(người) + who + V ..
 ........N(người) + whom + S + V......
 .........N(người) + whose + N +...........
 ....... N(người/vật) + that + S + V..........
 .......N(nơi chốn) + where + S + V....
 ......N (time) + when + S + V.....
 Eg: Tet is a festival . It occurs in late January or February.
 Tet is a festival which occurs in late January or February.
 Hong Nhung is a famous singer.She sings very well.
 Hong Nhung who sings very well, is a famous singer.
